In 1978 "Hap" Dumont Baseball became the official youth division of the National Baseball Congress with one age division (12u). The 2009 season begins with the addition of a 19u division which completes a program for all age brackets from 8u and up.
In 2008, the Kansas NBC "Hap" Dumont Board went online with this website. Through this site, leagues can charter and teams can roster to be eligible to play in all NBC sponsored tournaments.
Currently the State of Kansas is the only State with the NBC that sponsors State Tournaments. In 2008 the Board created a Points Tournament system to establish a seeding procedure for the State Tournaments.
